We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Sales Specialist to drive growth of Swisslog’s warehouse automation solutions across key industries in India.

🎯 Role Objective

Drive aggressive sales growth of Swisslog’s automation solutions across industries such as FMCG, Electronics, E-commerce, 3PL, and Automotive through both direct and indirect sales channels across India.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

Sales Execution & Growth

  • Own and exceed aggressive Pan-India sales targets.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting → solution design (with presales) → commercial closure → handover to delivery.
  • Identify, qualify, and close large automation and intralogistics projects.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record in closing enterprise deals.
  • Develop and execute territory-wise go-to-market strategies.
  • Maintain strong CRM discipline (Salesforce or equivalent) with accurate pipeline forecasting.

Industry-Focused Selling

Understand operational challenges and automation needs across industries:

  • FMCG: High-throughput and SKU-intensive operations
  • Electronics: Precision handling and inventory accuracy
  • E-commerce: Speed, scalability, and fulfilment efficiency
  • 3PL: Flexible, multi-client automation models
  • Automotive: Just-in-time and sequencing solutions

Channel & Partner Development

  • Build and manage relationships with system integrators, consultants, and logistics solution providers.
  • Drive indirect sales through partner enablement, joint customer pitches, and co-branded proposals.

Solution Selling

  • Position Swisslog’s modular solutions such as AutoStore, PowerStore, Vectura, SynQ, and AMRs.
  • Collaborate with presales and engineering teams to deliver tailored automation solutions based on client KPIs and ROI.

Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Track competitor activities and market trends.
  • Provide insights to global product teams on India-specific automation requirements.

👤 Candidate Profile

  • Experience: 5+ years in B2B sales of automation, robotics, industrial solutions, or supply chain technology.
  • Preferred: Experience in Warehouse Automation, ASRS, AutoStore or similar systems.
  • Sales Style: Strong hunter mindset with experience in direct and channel sales.
  • Skills: Consultative selling, stakeholder management, negotiation, and solution-based sales.
  • Education: Engineering or Business Degree; MBA preferred.
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively across India.

⭐ Nice to Have

  • Exposure to Swisslog-type solutions such as SynQ, ASRS, AutoStore-like systems, palletizing, or AMRs.
  • Experience in CAPEX/OPEX structuring, leasing models, or automation-as-a-service.
  • Familiarity with government logistics initiatives, industrial parks, or SEZ logistics projects.
