Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based at the Plein. showroom in Jaipur. The Showroom Sales & Client Experience Representative will serve as the face of the brand - responsible for managing all showroom operations, engaging clients in meaningful consultations, and driving sales through a refined, personalized approach. The role bridges traditional client relationship management with modern digital lead handling and AI-assisted design visualization.
Key Responsibilities
Showroom Sales & Client Engagement -
- Manage all walk-in client interactions at the showroom, delivering a premium, personalized sales experience aligned with Plein. brand ethos.
- Guide clients through product offerings, customization options, and bespoke design possibilities to understand and fulfil their unique requirements.
- Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets through proactive engagement and consultative selling.
- Maintain a professional, welcoming, and brand-consistent environment throughout all client interactions.
Design Communication & Visualization -
- Communicate clearly and confidently with clients regarding bespoke design concepts, fabric selections, tailoring nuances, and customization options.
- Leverage illustrative knowledge - including sketches, mood boards, and material samples - to present and explain design ideas in an engaging and comprehensible manner.
- Utilize AI-powered visualization tools to present clients with realistic previews of their bespoke pieces, enhancing confidence in design decisions.
- Act as a liaison between clients and the design team to ensure accurate translation of client preferences into final creations.
Digital Lead Management -
- Handle and respond to all incoming leads generated through digital platforms, including social media, website enquiries, and online campaigns.
- Qualify digital leads, initiate follow-up conversations, and convert online interest into showroom appointments or confirmed orders.
- Maintain a structured lead tracking system to monitor pipeline status, follow-up schedules, and conversion outcomes.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to provide on-the-ground insights to inform and optimize digital outreach strategies.
Store & Operations Management -
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the showroom, ensuring it is impeccably presented and operationally efficient at all times.
- Manage inventory, order processing, and coordination with the production and delivery teams to ensure timely fulfilment.
- Handle all customer service functions, including inquiries, order updates, alterations coordination, and post-delivery support.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, client interactions, and store activities; generate regular performance reports for management.
- Uphold brand standards in visual merchandising, cleanliness, and overall showroom ambiance.
Qualifications -
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and consultative sales skills with a natural ability to build rapport with high-end clientele.
- Proficiency in handling client inquiries across both in-person and digital channels, with effective order and pipeline management.
- Illustrative aptitude - ability to communicate design concepts visually using sketches, reference materials, or digital tools.
- Comfort with AI visualization tools and willingness to learn and apply emerging technology in client presentations.
- Sound understanding of luxury apparel, bespoke tailoring, and accessories; prior experience in high-end or fashion retail is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage store operations, including inventory, scheduling, and day-to-day administrative duties.
- Fluency in spoken and written English; proficiency in Hindi or other regional languages is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Passion for fashion, design, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
