Role Description
Job Title: Sales Executive / Sales Consultant – Building Materials
About the Role:
We are looking for a driven, hands-on sales professional who can own the entire sales cycle—from market scanning and lead generation to deal closure and execution coordination.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of field sales, client interaction, and technical understanding, and is comfortable working in a high-trust, high-autonomy environment.
Key Responsibilities-
Market Development
Identify and develop new business opportunities across architects, builders, and end customers
Build and maintain relationships with architects, designers, and key influencers
Sales & Client Engagement
Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products/solutions
Conduct showroom presentations and on-site discussions
Drive end-to-end sales: specification → quotation → negotiation → closure
Execution Coordination
Work closely with internal teams (design, operations, execution)
Ensure smooth project handover and timely completion
Commercial Ownership
Ensure proper pricing, margin adherence, and deal structuring
Follow up on payments and ensure 100% collection discipline
Product Learning
Continuously learn and stay updated on product features, applications, and industry trends
Candidate Profile
Education: Any undergraduate degree(PG are also welcome to apply)
Experience:
0-10years in sales (building materials experience is a strong plus)
Skills & Traits:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to be hands-on and take ownership
Ability to learn technical products quickly and translate to effective solutioning
Comfortable interacting with architects and premium clients
High accountability and follow-through mindset
Multi-lingual ability (Tamil + English preferred; additional languages a bonus)
