Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Representative role based in Tirumalgiri. The Sales Representative will greet customers, understand their preferences, and guide them in selecting products while promoting current offers and upselling where appropriate. Daily responsibilities include handling cash and digital payments, operating the point-of-sale system, and maintaining accurate billing and receipts. The role also involves ensuring the display counters are well-stocked, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the outlet, and supporting inventory checks and stock rotation. The Sales Representative will collaborate with team members to meet sales targets, address customer queries or concerns courteously, and follow company policies and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly, listen actively, and create a welcoming experience for diverse customers.
- Basic sales and retail skills, including product recommendation, upselling, and familiarity with point-of-sale systems and billing processes.
- Attention to detail and reliability in handling cash, digital payments, and simple record-keeping or documentation.
- Ability to work on-site in Tirumalgiri, stand for extended periods, and assist with light stocking and outlet upkeep.
- Prior experience in retail, food service, or hospitality is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Minimum high school education or equivalent; comfort with basic math for billing and payment handling.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as per outlet requirements.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a commitment to maintaining hygiene, safety, and brand standards.
