Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid Sales Representative role based in Bengaluru, with flexibility for partial work-from-home. The Sales Representative will prospect and qualify leads, conduct product demos, and manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach to closing for FoodOS’s restaurant operating system. They will build and maintain strong relationships with restaurant owners, operators, and decision-makers, understanding their needs and mapping them to FoodOS solutions. The role includes preparing proposals, negotiating commercial terms, and collaborating with marketing and product teams to refine messaging and identify new opportunities. The Sales Representative will also maintain accurate CRM records, track pipeline metrics, and provide feedback from the field to support product improvements and customer success.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in SaaS, hospitality tech, or related software solutions.
- Strong skills in prospecting, lead qualification, solution selling, and deal negotiation.
- Ability to conduct clear, impactful product demos and communicate value to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfort using CRM tools, sales dashboards, and basic analytics to manage pipeline and forecast revenue.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex workflows simply.
- Customer-centric mindset with strong relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations (POS, inventory, kitchen workflows, reservations, or CRM) is a strong plus.
- High level of self-motivation, accountability, and resilience in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Willingness to travel within the region to meet clients and attend industry events as needed.
