About Firmtalk
Firmtalk is the operating system for Indian law firms. Today a firm runs on five or six disconnected tools — one for matters, another for billing, a spreadsheet for
compliance, something else for HR. We bring all of it onto one platform built the way Indian firms actually work: GST-aware invoicing, bar council compliance,
multi-office matter ownership, and intake from referrers, web, and walk-ins in a single queue.
We're early, growing fast, and building something the legal industry here has never had. You'd be joining a small team that takes the work seriously and each other warmly.
The Role:
As an SDR, you're the first real conversation a law firm has with Firmtalk. You'll find the right firms, reach the right people, often Managing Partners and senior
decision-makers, and start honest, useful conversations that lead to product demos.
This is a role for someone who enjoys the early part of the sale: the research, the first message, the call that turns a stranger into a curious prospect. You won't
be reading from a script. You'll be representing a product we genuinely believe in, to a smart and discerning audience.
What you'll do:
- Research and build a list of law firms that fit Firmtalk well, across your city and region
- Reach out by email, LinkedIn, and phone with clear, personal, well-researched messages
- Have qualifying conversations to understand a firm's current tools, pain points, and fit
- Book and prepare demos for our founding team, and hand over context cleanly
- Keep your pipeline and notes organized in our CRM so nothing slips
- Share what you're hearing from the market, your feedback shapes how we sell and what we build
What we're looking for:
- 2–3 years of enterprise software / B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally as an SDR/BDR or in a similar outbound role
- A track record of starting conversations with senior buyers and consistently booking qualified meetings
- Clear, plain-spoken written and verbal English — you can write a message a busy partner actually reads
- Comfort with research and personalization over high-volume spray-and-pray outreach
- Self-driven and organized; you can run your own desk without being chased
- Based in (or willing to be based in) Mumbai, Delhi/NCR, Bengaluru, or Chennai.
Nice to have:
- Exposure to legal tech, fintech, or selling into professional services firms
- Familiarity with the Indian law firm or professional-services landscape
- Experience with CRM and outreach tools.
