Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Professional role based in Hyderabad. The Sales Professional will identify and develop new business opportunities with laboratories, hospitals, research institutions, and industrial clients, while also managing and growing existing accounts. Responsibilities include conducting client visits, understanding technical and operational requirements, preparing proposals and quotations, and delivering product presentations and demonstrations in coordination with technical teams. The role involves managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation, order closure, and coordination with internal teams for delivery and after-sales support. The Sales Professional will maintain accurate sales records, forecast pipelines, participate in marketing or promotional activities, and represent Genesis Bio Solutions at industry events as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven sales skills in B2B or technical product environments, including lead generation, opportunity qualification, negotiation, and closing.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships, with strong customer service, stakeholder management, and account management capabilities.
- Technical aptitude or prior exposure to laboratory equipment, scientific instruments, or healthcare products; ability to understand product specifications and applications.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, including clear written documentation, proposal preparation, and confident in-person or virtual product presentations.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, including territory planning, pipeline management, and use of CRM or sales tracking tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; a background in life sciences, biotechnology, or chemistry is an advantage.
- Prior experience in laboratory, medical device, or scientific equipment sales is highly preferred.
- Willingness to travel within the region as required and a valid means of local travel.
