Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in India for a Sales Professional. The role involves generating and maintaining client relationships, identifying and pursuing sales opportunities, and managing the sales cycle from inquiry to closure. Responsibilities include presenting detailed solutions, negotiating contracts, achieving sales targets, and maintaining a client database. The role also requires close collaboration with technical teams to ensure client requirements are met and staying updated on advancements in solar technology to effectively position the company’s products and services.
Qualifications
- Proven sales and business development skills, with a strong ability in negotiation and closing deals
- Knowledge of renewable energy, especially solar technologies and equipment, with experience in selling industrial equipment or similar products
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain professional relationships
- Ability to manage multiple clients and projects, prioritize effectively, and meet goals
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools
- Familiarity with solar industry raw materials and manufacturing processes is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is advantageous
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, site visits, and industry events
