Client Acquisition & Lead Generation
- Identify and acquire High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs) through both warm and cold outreach channels
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline via networking events, referrals, digital outreach, and partnerships
- Conduct investor meets, webinars, and one-on-one discussions to present PMS offerings
- Convert leads into clients through consultative selling and performance-driven discussions
Client Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients post-onboarding
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews and communicate performance insights
- Address client queries and grievances in coordination with internal teams
- Build long-term relationships to drive client retention and upsell opportunities
Sales Execution & Documentation
- Guide clients through onboarding including KYC, risk profiling, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with SEBI PMS regulations in all client documentation
- Coordinate with compliance and operations teams for timely account activation
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions in CRM
Business Development & Market Intelligence
- Track competitor offerings, pricing, and service models
- Identify market trends and share insights with product and research teams
- Provide feedback on product positioning based on client interactions
- Report weekly business development activities to the reporting manager
Internal Coordination & Reporting
- Collaborate with research teams to interpret portfolios and communicate insights
- Work closely with operations for seamless client servicing and execution
- Prepare MIS reports including AUM movement and performance summaries
- Maintain CRM logs for tracking, audits, and performance reviews
Training & Product Familiarity
- Participate in internal product and compliance training sessions
- Stay updated on regulatory changes, product launches, and market developments
- Engage in mock client pitches to enhance communication effectiveness
- Continuously build knowledge across PMS strategies (Multi-cap, Thematic, Contra, etc.)
Skills Required
Domain Skills
- Strong understanding of Portfolio Management Services (PMS) and SEBI regulations
- Knowledge of investment strategies, asset allocation, and performance attribution
- Familiarity with wealth management products and client advisory approach
- Awareness of market trends, competitor offerings, and product positioning
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, Zoho CRM, or similar)
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and portfolio dashboards
- Ability to interpret portfolio data and performance reports
- Basic understanding of MIS reporting and data tracking
Managerial Skills
- Strong client relationship management and stakeholder handling ability
- Revenue orientation with ability to drive acquisition and upselling
- Effective coordination with cross-functional teams (Research, Ops, Compliance)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- High ownership, time management, and ability to work in a target-driven environment
