A technologyoriented organization is seeking a
Sales Operations Executive to support its commercial and office operations in India. This role provides essential operational support to sales and management teams by ensuring accurate reporting, effective order coordination, and wellorganized administrative processes.
The position plays a key role in enabling smooth business execution by supporting sales planning, postorder processes, internal coordination, and daytoday office operations, while working closely with crossfunctional and regional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Commercial Support
- Maintain and update customer records, sales pipelines, and opportunity data within internal systems or CRM tools.
- Prepare regular and adhoc sales reports, forecasts, pricing summaries, and supporting documentation for management review.
- Support compilation of business plans, budgets, and internal presentations as required.
Order & Revenue Coordination
- Manage postorder processes from purchase order receipt through delivery coordination and closure.
- Track order progress, support billing followups, and assist with payment status monitoring.
- Coordinate internally to ensure accuracy and timeliness of commercial documentation and execution.
Administrative & Office Operations
- Provide administrative support to local leadership and the sales team, including meeting coordination, scheduling, and record maintenance.
- Assist with internal administrative activities, including HRrelated support tasks and internal projects.
- Handle incoming commercial or operational inquiries and support appropriate followup.
Marketing & Event Assistance
- Support preparation and distribution of sales and marketing materials such as brochures, product information, and email communications.
- Assist in organizing customer meetings, trainings, seminars, conferences, and industry events.
- Manage calendars, logistics, and documentation related to commercial activities.
Reporting & CrossFunctional Coordination
- Consolidate sales and commercial reports for finance and regional stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Liaise with sales, finance, HR, and operations teams to ensure smooth information flow and reporting accuracy.
- Perform additional adhoc tasks or projects as required to support business needs.
Candidate Profile
Education & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sales operations, commercial support, sales administration, or office operations roles.
- Prior exposure to sales or commercial team support is highly desirable.
Skills & Capabilities
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (including advanced formulas and data analysis functions).
- Familiarity with CRM or sales database systems is an advantage.
- Understanding of order processing, payment terms, and basic commercial workflows is preferred.
Work Style & Communication
- Highly organized, detailoriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a dynamic business environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for business support activities if required.
