Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Officer role based in Jaipur, focused on Personal Care and FMCG products. The Sales Officer will manage and grow sales in assigned territories by visiting retailers, distributors, and modern trade outlets, ensuring product availability, visibility, and proper merchandising. The role includes generating new leads, onboarding and supporting channel partners, and executing sales plans to achieve monthly and quarterly targets. The Sales Officer will handle order booking, follow up on payments, coordinate with internal teams for timely delivery, and track market activities and competitor performance. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining accurate sales reports, supporting promotional activities, and delivering consistent customer service to build long-term relationships.
Qualifications
- Strong Sales Operations and Channel Sales skills, with experience managing distributors, retailers, and FMCG or personal care product portfolios.
- Proven ability in Customer Service and Communication, including relationship-building, negotiation, and clear, professional interaction with stakeholders.
- Experience in Lead Generation, including identifying new markets, expanding retailer networks, and converting prospects into active buyers.
- Ability to work in the field, travel within assigned territories, and manage time and routes efficiently.
- Good knowledge of local Jaipur and Rajasthan markets; prior experience in beauty, personal care, or FMCG sales is preferred.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office or mobile-based sales reporting tools for daily and weekly sales tracking.
- Minimum of a high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
- Self-motivated, target-driven mindset with the ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.
