Designation - Sales Offcer

Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for OTC products in the assigned territory.
- Ensure product availability and visibility at chemists, general trade stores, and modern trade outlets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and stockists.
- Conduct regular market visits and outlet coverage as per route plans.
- Monitor secondary sales and ensure proper stock movement.
- Implement trade schemes, promotional activities, and merchandising initiatives.
- Generate demand for OTC products through retailer engagement and consumer awareness activities.
- Track competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Ensure timely order collection and coordination with distributors for deliveries.
- Maintain reports related to sales, market feedback, stock status, and daily activity.
- Support new product launches and increase market penetration in the assigned area.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and reporting systems.
Skills Required
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of FMCG/OTC sales and distribution channels.
- Relationship management with retailers and distributors.
- Territory management and market planning.
- Basic analytical and reporting skills.
- Ability to work in field sales and achieve targets.
Preferred Background
- Experience in OTC, FMCG, healthcare, personal care, beauty, or pharmaceutical sales.
- Familiarity with chemist and general trade markets.
- Experience in handling distributor networks and retail expansion.
