Role Description This is a full-time Sales Officer Home Loan role based in Kishtwar with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some tasks to be performed from home. The Sales Officer will be responsible for sourcing and generating home loan leads through field visits, referrals, and channel partners. Daily activities include meeting prospective customers, understanding their home financing needs, explaining SBI home loan products, and guiding them through eligibility, documentation, and application processes. The role involves coordinating with internal teams for application processing, ensuring timely follow-up, and maintaining accurate records in line with organizational policies. The Sales Officer will also support post-sanction services, nurture long-term relationships, and achieve assigned sales and portfolio quality targets.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Communication, with the ability to explain financial products clearly and handle queries professionally.
- Proven ability in Lead Generation, from prospecting to qualification, using both field and remote channels.
- Experience in Sales Operations, including application tracking, documentation management, and coordination with internal stakeholders.
- Exposure to Channel Sales, working with builders, agents, and other partners to drive home loan business.
- Relevant experience in retail lending, banking, or financial services is preferred, especially in home loans or mortgage products.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is an advantage; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Comfort with basic digital tools (CRM systems, spreadsheets, email) and willingness to learn organizational platforms.
- Ability to work independently, meet sales targets ethically, and maintain high standards of integrity and compliance.
- Familiarity with the local Kishtwar market and ability to travel locally as required.
