Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Officer role based in Badaun. The Sales Officer will be responsible for meeting sales targets by promoting the company’s pesticide and crop-protection products to retailers, distributors, and farmers in the region. Daily activities include visiting customers in the field, presenting product features and benefits, negotiating prices and terms within company guidelines, and ensuring timely order collection and payment follow-up. The role also involves identifying new business opportunities, generating and qualifying leads, and expanding the company’s presence through effective channel sales. The Sales Officer will maintain accurate sales records, prepare regular reports, gather market and competitor information, and coordinate with internal teams for stock availability, delivery, and customer support.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to build trust, understand client needs, and provide timely support.
- Proven ability in Lead Generation and Sales Operations, including pipeline management, follow-ups, and basic reporting.
- Experience in Channel Sales, especially managing relationships with distributors, dealers, and retailers.
- Knowledge of agriculture or agrochemicals (pesticides, fertilizers, crop protection) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Comfort working in field-based roles, including regular travel within the assigned territory.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office or mobile-based reporting tools and the ability to maintain accurate records.
