Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for a Sales Marketing & Product Development Executive. The role involves planning and executing sales and marketing activities for chemical and pharmaceutical products, including identifying new markets, nurturing existing client relationships, and managing key accounts. The executive will conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements, and will use these insights to support product development and positioning. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing sales proposals, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams, participating in pricing and negotiation discussions, and supporting promotional initiatives and trade events. The role also requires maintaining accurate sales reports, ensuring timely order processing, and collaborating with operations to meet client delivery and quality expectations.
Qualifications
- Strong market planning and marketing skills to develop and implement effective sales and product strategies.
- Proficiency in market research to analyze industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
- Demonstrated sales capabilities, including lead generation, negotiation, and relationship management.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, Pharmaceuticals, or a related field.
- Experience in chemicals, solvents, or pharmaceutical products is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort with MS Office and CRM tools, with strong analytical and reporting skills.
