Keerthi Pumps is an Indian manufacturer of industrial and dewatering pump solutions with in-house manufacturing capabilities. We are expanding our presence in the GCC market and are looking for an experienced Business Development Engineer to develop our business across the UAE and neighboring countries.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities for dewatering pump solutions across construction, infrastructure, mining, industrial, and municipal sectors.
- Identify and approach EPC contractors, civil contractors, rental companies, consultants, distributors, and government-approved vendors.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Conduct technical presentations and recommend suitable pump solutions.
- Prepare quotations and negotiate commercial terms.
- Coordinate with the engineering and production teams in India to ensure timely deliveries.
- Support product demonstrations, commissioning coordination, and after-sales service.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Represent the company at exhibitions, customer meetings, and industry events.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in industrial pump sales, dewatering pumps, or related rotating equipment.
- Existing customer network within the UAE construction or industrial sectors is highly preferred.
- Strong technical and commercial understanding of pump applications.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
- Willingness to travel across the GCC region.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with dewatering pumps, slurry pumps, centrifugal pumps, or water transfer systems.
- Previous experience working with EPC contractors, infrastructure projects, or pump rental companies.
