Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Research and identify potential customers across automotive Tier 1 & Tier 2 suppliers, EV manufacturers, and industrial OEMs through LinkedIn, IndiaMART, TradeIndia, and other B2B platforms
- Build and maintain a structured database of target accounts, decision-makers, and contact details
- Use trade data platforms and export portals to identify international buyers sourcing rubber components from India
Outreach & Communication
- Execute cold outreach campaigns via LinkedIn, email, and phone calls to connect with procurement managers, sourcing heads, and purchase teams at target companies
- Draft and send introductory emails, capability presentations, and follow-up sequences to prospective clients
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads and convert them into scheduled meetings or plant visits
Meeting Coordination & CRM Management
- Set up and coordinate meetings between prospective clients and senior management / the Marketing Head
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all outreach activity, lead status, and follow-up actions in the CRM or tracking system
- Prepare meeting briefs, customer profiles, and relevant background research before each client interaction
Market Intelligence
- Track industry developments, new OEM/EV program launches, competitor activity, and procurement trends in the automotive and industrial rubber components space
- Monitor RFQ portals, government procurement platforms (GeM), and industry publications for new business opportunities
Marketing Support
- Assist the Marketing Head in preparing capability decks, product catalogues, and customer presentations
- Support participation in trade exhibitions, industry events, and supplier registration drives
- Help manage the company's presence on LinkedIn and B2B marketplaces like IndiaMART
Coordination with Internal Teams
- Liaise with the production and quality teams to gather technical inputs needed for customer queries, RFQ responses, and sample requests
- Coordinate prototype and sample dispatch for prospective customers, particularly in the EV segment
