Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales & Marketing role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The role involves generating and managing advertising sales for the radio station, including identifying leads, pitching solutions, and closing deals with local and regional clients. The Sales & Marketing professional will build and maintain long-term client relationships, understand client needs, and collaborate with internal teams to create customized on-air and digital campaigns. Daily responsibilities include preparing sales proposals, tracking campaign performance, and following up with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. The role also includes coordinating promotions, supporting brand-building activities, and participating in events or activations to increase market visibility for the station.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with clients, partners, and internal teams.
- Proven Sales and Sales Management experience, including lead generation, pipeline management, and achieving revenue targets.
- Ability to deliver Training and guidance to team members or partners on sales processes, product offerings, and campaign execution.
- Experience in media, advertising, or radio industry is an advantage, with understanding of on-air and digital marketing solutions.
- Ability to work on-site in the Kolkata metropolitan area, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations, CRM tools) and comfort with data-driven decision-making.
