VEMIO is a managed network monitoring SaaS platform built for mid-market and enterprise customers across India and beyond. We combine a proprietary, multi-tenant monitoring platform with a dedicated NOC team that watches client networks continuously, detecting incidents early and resolving issues fast.

About the Role
We are hiring a Sales Manager to own end-to-end sales for VEMIO. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role for the first 6 to 9 months, with a clear path to building and leading a small sales team thereafter.
You will be the person prospecting CIOs and IT Heads, running discovery conversations, demoing the platform, scoping pilots, negotiating commercials, and closing deals. You will work directly with the founder and the product team, and you will have meaningful influence over how VEMIO is positioned in the market.
This role suits someone who has sold B2B SaaS or IT infrastructure products before, who is comfortable being technical enough to run a demo themselves, and who enjoys the early-stage challenge of building a sales motion from a strong but still-emerging base.
What You'll Do
- Own the VEMIO sales pipeline end-to-end, from prospecting and qualification through demo, POC scoping, commercial negotiation, and closure
- Personally close 12 to 20 new enterprise and mid-market customers in your first 12 months
- Build and maintain a structured target account list for India, with a clear point of view on which industries and customer profiles are the best fit for VEMIO
- Run product demos confidently, since VEMIO is a technical product and customers expect the salesperson to understand it
- Lead pilot and POC engagements, coordinating with our NOC and platform teams to ensure customers see real value during evaluation
- Build relationships with IT decision-makers, CIOs, infrastructure heads, and procurement teams across target accounts
- Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and CRM hygiene
- Partner with marketing on lead generation, content positioning, and event participation
- Bring market intelligence back to the product team, what customers ask for, where competitors are weak, and how VEMIO should evolve
- As the pipeline grows, hire and onboard a small team of BDRs and account executives to scale the motion
What Success Looks Like (First 12 Months)
- 12 to 20 new VEMIO customers signed, contributing meaningful annual recurring revenue
- A structured, named target account list of 100 plus companies with documented progress on each
- Healthy pipeline coverage of 3x to 4x against quarterly targets, giving leadership confidence in the forecast
- Smooth customer onboarding handoffs to the NOC and platform teams, with no escalations caused by misaligned commercial expectations
- Demonstrable contribution to product direction, with at least 3 to 5 customer-driven product improvements shipped because you brought the feedback in
- Foundation laid for hiring and building a small sales team in the second year
Who We're Looking For
Must-haves:
- 3 to 10 years of B2B sales experience, with at least 3 years selling SaaS, IT infrastructure software, or managed IT services
- Demonstrated track record of personally closing deals worth ₹5 lakh or more in annual contract value
- Experience selling to IT Heads, CIOs, infrastructure managers, or NOC managers
- Comfortable running technical demos independently, without needing a sales engineer for every conversation
- Strong written and verbal communication in English; working knowledge of Hindi and Gujarati for local market conversations
- Experience with modern sales tools, CRM (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, or similar), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email outreach tools
- Willingness to travel 25 to 30 percent across India for client meetings, particularly Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Pune, and Hyderabad
- Based in Ahmedabad or willing to relocate
Strong-to-have:
- Direct experience selling network monitoring, RMM, ITSM, observability, or IT operations products
- Experience with MSP business models or selling to MSPs
- Prior experience in early-stage or growth-stage SaaS where you built process from scratch
- Experience hiring and managing junior sales talent
- Familiarity with channel and partner-led sales motions
- Exposure to international markets such as US, UK, Middle East, or Southeast Asia
What we don't need:
- Pure inside sales or telecalling backgrounds without field sales experience
- IT services or staff augmentation sales backgrounds without product sales exposure
- Real estate, insurance, FMCG, or edtech sales backgrounds without SaaS depth
