Winseed is looking for an experienced and commercially driven Sales Manager to lead our North India vegetable seed business, with a strong focus on Beetroot, Carrot, Radish, and Pea portfolios.
This is an exciting opportunity for a high-performing agri-input professional with deep market knowledge, strong distributor networks, and a passion for driving growth in India’s vegetable seed industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales growth, profitability, and market share across North India
- Develop seasonal sales strategies and demand forecasting plans
- Strengthen distributor and dealer networks across MP, UP, Bihar, West Bengal, and Jharkhand
- Lead product launches, field demonstrations, and demand-generation activities
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and customer needs
- Lead and mentor Territory Sales Managers and field teams
- Collaborate closely with R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, and Quality teams
Wat We're Looking For:
- 10+ years’ experience in Indian agri-input sales
- Minimum 5 years in vegetable seed sales & marketing
- Degree in Agriculture or allied sciences preferred (B.Sc./M.Sc./MBA)
- Strong knowledge of root vegetable markets preferred
- Existing network with distributors, dealers, growers, and cold storage operators
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Fluent in English and Hindi
- Willingness to extensive travel across major root-crop cultivation belts
