Ample Solar Private Limited seeks an experienced, results oriented Sales Manager to lead business operations at its Noida office across Residential Rooftop and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) solar projects in Delhi NCR/Uttar Pradesh.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for regional business development, sales execution, team management, channel expansion, and revenue growth. The role involves managing and guiding the existing sales team while ensuring effective coordination between sales, technical, and project execution functions. The Sales Manager will be responsible for establishing and scaling Ample Solar operations in the Noida region, while closely aligning with the headquarter at Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership capabilities, solar industry experience, and the ability to build scalable business operations in a fast-growing renewable energy environment.

What We Are Looking for in an Ideal Candidate
1. Business Development & Sales Growth
- Drive sales growth for both Residential and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) solar projects in the Noida/NCR region.
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
- Generate new business opportunities through direct sales, channel partners, references, and market networking.
- Manage local branch operations and ensure a high conversion rate from the initial site survey to the final commissioning of the project is complete.
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with company goals.
- Direct and participate in site visits to factories and industrial plants to build rapport with owners and C-suite executives.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Establish Ample Solar as a trusted and reputed solar brand in the region.
2. Team Leadership & Management
- Lead, supervise, and coordinate the complete Noida sales team across both Residential and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) solar business segments.
- Define clear sales targets, KPIs, and activity plans for individual team members aligned with overall branch revenue objectives.
- Provide continuous field-level support and mentoring to team members during client meetings, site visits, negotiations, and project discussions whenever required.
- Identify skill gaps within the team and conduct regular coaching, performance improvement discussions, and training sessions related to: Solar product knowledge, Sales strategy, Client handling, Commercial negotiation, Market development.
- Drive accountability, ownership, and target-oriented execution culture within the branch team.
- Ensure all team members maintain proper CRM updates, sales reports, customer records, and market intelligence data on a regular basis.
3. Channel Partner & Market Development
- Develop and strengthen channel partner and dealer networks in the Noida/NCR market.
- Identify EPC partners, electrical contractors, consultants, and industrial leads.
- Conduct market mapping and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
4. Project Coordination & Client Management
- Coordinate with technical and execution teams for project feasibility and smooth execution.
- Participate in client meetings, commercial discussions, and key negotiations.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and timely resolution of client concerns.
- Support proposal preparation, commercial closures, and contract discussions.
5. Operational & Strategic Responsibilities
- Support branch activation and business expansion initiatives for the Noida office.
- Assist in vendor registration, empanelment, and regulatory coordination when required.
- Maintain sales pipeline reports, forecasting, and MIS reporting.
- Prepare business plans, revenue forecasts, and execution strategies for the region.
- The Sales Manager shall be solely responsible for overseeing and driving all business activities related to the Noida branch operations and will be expected to take complete ownership of regional growth initiatives. The role requires proactive involvement in all activities necessary for business expansion, market development, strategic partnerships, client acquisition, and operational growth, including travel whenever required for business meetings, channel partner development, customer engagement, and expansion opportunities
6. Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 5–6 years of overall experience in Sales, Business Development, or Market Expansion roles, with at least 4+ years of relevant experience specifically in Solar EPC, Renewable Energy, Electrical Solutions, Energy Infrastructure, or Power-related industries at a senior level.
- Proven hands-on experience in handling and managing both:
- Residential Rooftop Solar Projects
- Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Solar Projects including lead generation, client acquisition, commercial discussions, project coordination, and closure management.
- Ability to independently drive revenue generation activities, develop sales strategies, and achieve business targets under dynamic market conditions.
- Familiarity with government and regulatory processes related to the solar industry, including:UPNEDA procedures, DISCOM coordination, Vendor registrations, Net metering documentation, Solar subsidy or approval-related processes.
- Strong understanding of: Solar EPC business models, Rooftop solar solutions, Open access / captive concepts (preferred), Net metering processes, Industrial and commercial energy consumption patterns, ROI and payback calculations for solar projects.
- Good knowledge and practical experience in: Channel partner development, Dealer and distributor management, EPC partner coordination, Consultant and contractor relationship management, Market activation and territory development.
