Position: Sales Manager – Solar EPC Projects / Solar Module Sales

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Solar Sales Professional to drive
business growth in the Open Access, Solar Park Developments, Captive and Group Captive
Projects, 3rd Party Sales, Large Scale EPC Projects, Commercial & Industrial (C&I) and Large
scale Module Sales, MMS Sales to IPP’s, EPC’s, Developers etc..
The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating high-value leads, closing large-ticket solar EPC projects, managing key IPP’s, Solar Park Developers, Corporates, industrial accounts, and
contributing significantly to revenue growth. Experience in setting up Solar Park with BESS
preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in setting up Solar Parks for Large EPC Players, Open Access, Solar Park Developers, Captive and Group Captive Clients, Commercial & Industrial Segment etc.
- Identify IPP’s, Solar Park Developers, Corporates, Industries for large scale sales of Modules, Module Mounting Structure, Electric Panels etc.
- Identify clients under Kusum C, Kusum A segment for setting up EPC Projects.
- Generate leads through direct meetings, references, consultants, IPP’s, Developers and industry networks
- Conduct site visits and feasibility discussions with clients
- Coordinate with technical/design teams for proposal preparation
- Present techno-commercial proposals to clients
- Working out Financial viability of the Project.
- Expertise in 3rd Party Sales, Govt. and Pvt. PPA’s.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms
- Close large-ticket solar EPC projects
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and consultants
- Track market trends, competitor activities & government solar policies
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
- Coordinate with project execution teams until commissioning
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering preferred – Electrical / Mechanical / Renewable Energy)
- 3 to10 years of experience in Solar EPC / Industrial Sales
- Strong understanding of:
o Ground-Mounted Solar Projects
o Open Access Solar
o Captive and Group Captive Solar Parks
o Third Party Sales, Govt. & Pvt. PPA’s
- Good knowledge of PPA, CAPEX & OPEX models
- Excellent communication & negotiation skills
- Ability to handle high-value commercial clients
- Experience in BESS preferable
