Role Description
This full-time on-site role, based in Coimbatore, involves managing and expanding the Loan Against Property (LAP) portfolio within the SME segment. The Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving business targets, acquiring and retaining clients, leading a sales team, and building relationships with channel partners. The role includes market analysis, identifying business opportunities, ensuring compliance with internal and external policies, and streamlining processes for operational efficiency while meeting customer needs.
Qualifications
- Sales and Business Development skills, including the ability to acquire and manage SME Loan Against Property customers and drive business growth
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities to guide and motivate sales teams towards achieving targets
- Market Analysis and Customer Relationship Management skills, with a focus on understanding customer needs and building long-lasting relationships
- Knowledge of compliance, regulatory requirements, and risk assessment practices for financial services products
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and channel partners
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills to address customer queries and improve operational efficiency
- Prior experience in SME Lending, Loan Against Property, or related financial services is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent qualification is a plus
