About The Role
As a Regional Manager, you'll function as an individual contributor driving personal targets in lead sourcing, conversions, and loan disbursals within an assigned territory. You'll coordinate with a team of 1+ Relationship Officers (ROs) and leverage your channel management expertise to optimize partnerships with SBI branches and other stakeholders. This role demands a results-driven mindset, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to align team efforts without direct hiring or supervisory authority.
Key Responsibilities
- Personal Target Delivery: Achieve individual quotas for lead logins, sanctions, and disbursals as set by the company, focusing on high-conversion abroad education loans.
- Strategic Lead Sourcing: Independently source and nurture leads from SBI branches and other channels to build a robust pipeline.
- Conversion Optimization: Drive website lead conversion rates to company standards through proactive follow-ups and process improvements.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with 1+ ROs to align efforts, share best practices, and ensure collective target achievement without direct management.
- Channel Management: Strengthen relationships with SBI branch managers, study abroad consultants, and banking partners to expand lead flow and resolve escalations.
- Performance Tracking & Coaching: Monitor territory metrics, analyze trends, provide peer coaching, and recommend efficiency tweaks.
- Process Compliance: Adhere to GyanDhan guidelines, banking protocols, and regulatory standards in all lead processing and disbursals.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in sales of banking/financial products, with proven expertise in channel management (e.g., DSA partnerships, bank branch networks).
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel regularly across assigned branches.
- Excellent communication in English and the regional language.
- Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and analytical skills for individual high-performance.
