Job Description
As a Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving the company’s sales and revenue
growth within the waste management or related industry. Your primary responsibility will
be to generate new business opportunities, maintain client relationships, and contribute to
expanding the company’s market presence. You will work closely with clients to understand
their requirements and offer suitable waste management solutions.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, site visits,
tenders, and networking.
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets by promoting waste management services
and solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer
satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct market mapping to identify potential clients, key sectors, and growth
opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and quotations to prospective clients.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery and client
onboarding.
- Track competitor activities and market trends to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales activities in CRM or
reporting systems.
- Follow up on leads consistently and close deals effectively.
Skills And Knowledge Required
- Strong understanding of sales processes and techniques, in B2B and B2C sales.
- Experience or exposure to waste management, environmental services, or related
industries is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build client relationships.
- Ability to negotiate and close deals effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
- Self-motivated and target-oriented with a proven track record of achieving sales
goals.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Adaptability to dynamic market conditions and client requirements.
- Able to achieve monthly and quarterly targets
