About the Role: Bisco Steels is looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to lead and grow our Purlin & Structural Products business across Tamil Nadu.
Based out of Coimbatore, you will be the face of our brand to EPC contractors, solar developers, fabricators, and industrial builders across the state. This is a field-heavy, relationship-driven role for someone who thrives on building new accounts and closing high-value project orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales of C Purlins, Z Purlins, GI Structural Sections and allied products across Tamil Nadu
- Identify, develop and close new accounts in Solar EPC, ground-mount and surface mounting solar projects, industrial construction and fabrication sectors
- Manage the complete sales cycle lead generation, site visits, techno- commercial presentations, negotiation and order closure
- Build and maintain strong relationships with procurement heads, project managers, structural consultants and EPC decision-makers - Prepare and submit accurate BOQ-based quotations and follow up on tenders
- Monitor competitor pricing, market movement and upcoming project pipelines across the state
- Submit weekly MIS reports on sales activity, pipeline status and collections
- Coordinate with internal logistics and operations teams for timely delivery and customer satisfaction Candidate Requirements:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in B2B sales structural steel, solar mounting structures, PEB (Pre-Engineered Buildings), metal roofing or allied construction materials
- Proven track record of selling to EPC contractors, solar project developers or ground-mount / surface mounting solar installers
- Strong existing network with procurement and project teams across Tamil Nadu
- Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, BOQs and BOMs
- Self-driven with the ability to independently manage a large territory
- Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship management skills
- Willingness to travel extensively across Tamil Nadu
- Proficiency in MS Excel, basic CRM tools and WhatsApp-based reporting
