Job Summary: Switchgear and Control Techniques Private Limited is seeking a motivated and results-driven Regional Sales to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical engineering and experience in sales of panel and switchgear products. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company targets for switchgear and control panel products.
- Strong understanding of electrical products, including switchgear, LT panels, HT panels, MCC, PCC, and control panels.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the electrical panel and switchgear market.
- Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building, and follow-up discipline with clients, contractors, and consultants.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Provide technical support and expertise to customers regarding product applications and solutions.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, quotations, and reports.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance product visibility and reach.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and other networking events to promote products and services.
Reports Submissions
- Weekly, monthly and quarterly order booking value.
- New customer additions and active enquiry generation.
- Conversion ratio from enquiry to order.
- Consultant and EPC registrations or approvals completed.
- Collection efficiency and overdue control.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Min 10 years of experience in sales, specifically in panel sales and switchgear products.
- Ready to travel to the assigned sales territory.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building customer relationships.
- Good commercial judgment in pricing, negotiation, margin management, and payment terms.
- Proficient in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite and SAP software.
