Job Summary**
The Sales Manager for LAP (Loan Against Property) in Bengaluru will be responsible for leading and motivating a sales team to achieve ambitious targets in the property-backed lending sector. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, fostering strong client relationships, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines within the Bengaluru market.
Job Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed LAP sales targets in the Bengaluru region.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales executives, providing regular training, performance feedback, and coaching to enhance their skills and productivity.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key channel partners, builders, real estate agents, and direct clients to generate new business opportunities.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and challenges, and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by overseeing the loan application process, addressing client queries, and resolving issues promptly.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, pipeline activity, and market share on a regular basis to senior management.
- Collaborate with credit, operations, and other internal teams to streamline processes and ensure efficient loan disbursement.
- Ensure strict adherence to all company policies, lending guidelines, and regulatory requirements related to LAP products.
- Manage and optimize the sales budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while maximizing revenue generation.
- Participate in business development activities, including presentations, workshops, and networking events.
Job Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role within the financial services industry, specifically with strong exposure to Loan Against Property (LAP).
- Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
- In-depth knowledge of LAP products, market dynamics, and regulatory landscape in India, particularly within Bengaluru.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and channel partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with the Bengaluru real estate market and local demographics is highly desirable.
