Job Title: Sales Manager – IT Services
About the Role
We’re hiring a Sales Manager who will own end-to-end sales across domestic and international markets for our Web App Development, Mobile App Development, and SEO services. This role goes beyond lead generation: you will lead meetings, run discovery, craft solutions and proposals, negotiate, and close deals—while coaching a small team of sales/SDR reps to hit revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Revenue Ownership & Leadership
- Own new business and expansion targets; forecast accurately and report on pipeline, win rate, ACV, and sales cycle.
- Lead and coach a team of sales reps/SDRs; run pipeline reviews, call coaching, and weekly stand-ups.
- Collaborate with delivery, marketing, and leadership on deal strategy and capacity planning.
- Full-Cycle Sales: Prospect to Close
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline via outbound, inbound, partnerships, social selling, and selective bidding platforms.
- Lead discovery, map stakeholders, define use cases, and align technical scope with internal teams.
- Create tailored proposals, SoWs, and ROI/value cases; deliver compelling demos and presentations.
- Negotiate commercials and terms, handle objections, and drive deals to close.
- Manage smooth handover to delivery and ensure successful kickoffs.
- Meetings, Demos, and Events
- Schedule and run virtual/on-site customer meetings with decision-makers.
- Represent the company at domestic/international conventions, forums, and conferences; present our capabilities.
- Account Management & Growth
- Build strong relationships with key customers; ensure CSAT and identify upsell/cross-sell and renewal opportunities.
- Marketing, Branding & Collateral
- Partner with marketing on campaigns; use email marketing and automation tools.
- Create and refine sales collateral: decks, case studies, brochures, newsletters, company/corp profiles.
- Stay current on IT services market trends to sharpen messaging and offers; be active on social media.
- Bidding Platforms (as a Channel, not the Only One)
- Use Upwork, Freelancer, Guru, PPH strategically; identify the right bids and craft standout proposals when appropriate.
- Sales Operations
- Maintain CRM hygiene (e.g., HubSpot/Salesforce); track activities and outcomes.
- Study and continuously improve our services portfolio and success stories.
Qualifications
- 2–6 years in IT services sales with at least 1–2 years of closing experience and measurable quota attainment.
- Strong understanding of web/mobile development and SEO services and how to translate business needs into solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; confident leading C-level meetings.
- Proven experience creating proposals/SoWs, responding to RFPs, and collaborating with technical/delivery teams.
- Proficiency with CRM (HubSpot/Salesforce), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email/marketing automation; familiarity with bidding portals.
- Proactive, metrics-driven, and adaptable; go-getter mindset and comfort working across time zones.
Nice to Have
- Existing client relationships in US/UK/Europe/ME/ANZ.
- Inside sales calling experience and participation in domestic/global conventions.
- Knowledge of sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger).
