Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage a team of sales executives / field sales representatives for the
assigned category or product line.
• Develop and implement category-specific sales strategies and go-to-market plans
to achieve revenue, profitability, and growth objectives.
• Track sales performance across regions and team members, ensuring achievement of
monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
• Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor strategies to identify new
revenue opportunities.
• Drive sales funnel effectiveness, from lead generation to deal closure, and ensure
high conversion rates.
• Build and manage strong client relationships, including key accounts, B2B
partnerships, and channel partners.
• Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, supply chain, product, operations) to
ensure seamless customer experience.
• Monitor and manage the P&L for the category, with clear visibility on margins,
costs, and pricing strategy.
• Upskill and coach sales team members, fostering a performance-driven and highaccountability
culture.
• Use CRM tools and data dashboards to track KPIs, generate reports, and improve
forecasting accuracy.
• Launch and promote new products or services within the category through targeted
