Sales Manager (ASM) – Infrastructure Sales
Department: Sales
Reporting To: Regional Sales Manager / Business Head
Location: As per assigned area
Job Summary:
The Area Sales Manager (ASM) – Infra Sales will be responsible for driving direct project sales within the assigned territory across Infrastructure and Commercial & Industrial construction segments. The role focuses on generating leads, supporting project closures, and achieving area-level sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute area-level sales strategy aligned with regional goals
Generate business from EPC contractors, builders, industrial clients, and government projects
Handle direct project sales (no distributor/channel sales)
Identify and develop opportunities in sectors like:
Metro & Railways
Industrial & Commercial Buildings
Power Plants & Cement Plants
Support the complete sales cycle from lead generation to order closure
Assist in preparing techno-commercial proposals and basic negotiations
Coordinate with internal teams (design, estimation, execution) for project support
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
Track competitor activities and market trends within the territory
Maintain sales pipeline, reports, and forecasting updates
Required Skills:
Good understanding of Infrastructure / Project Sales
Exposure to handling project-based or B2B sales
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Basic understanding of tendering and project execution cycle
Ability to manage client interactions and site-level discussions
Self-driven with strong follow-up and closure orientation
Qualification:
Graduate (Engineering / Business Administration preferred)
MBA (Sales/Marketing) – Added advantage
Experience:
3–8 years of experience in Infrastructure / Project Sales
Experience working with EPCs, contractors, or industrial clients
Exposure to construction materials, formwork, scaffolding, PPE, or industrial products preferred
