Role Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic **HORECA Sales Manager** to drive our B2B sales and distribution strategy. The primary focus of this role is to manage and expand our network of distributors while directly engaging with key accounts in the Hotel, Restaurant, and Catering (HORECA) sector. You will be responsible for the entire sales cycle within the frozen food vertical, ensuring volume targets are met and our products are readily available across the designated territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Distribution Management: Identify, onboard, and manage relationships with channel distributors to ensure deep market penetration and adherence to cold chain protocols.
- B2B Sales: Develop a robust pipeline of institutional clients (QSRs, hotels, industrial catering) and convert them through effective negotiation and product demonstrations.
- Business Development: Create and execute a territory sales plan to achieve revenue targets and increase market share for frozen products.
- Account Management: Maintain relationships with existing key accounts, ensuring high service levels and resolving any operational issues related to logistics or quality.
- Market Analysis:Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and menu trends to identify new opportunities for product placement.
Qualification
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of sales experience in the Food & Beverage industry, with at least 3 years specifically in **HORECA/Institutional sales**.
- **Industry Knowledge:** Must have prior experience handling **Frozen Food** products (essential). Candidates with dry pantry or non-frozen food experience will not be suitable.
- **Channel Expertise:** Proven track record of managing and scaling sales through a **Distributor/Dealer network**.
- **Educational Background:** MBA in Marketing or a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management (preferred but not mandatory if industry experience is strong).
- **Skills:** Strong negotiation skills, existing contacts with chefs and procurement managers, and a deep understanding of logistics.
