Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Manager Horeca role based in Delhi. The Sales Manager will oversee and grow sales within the Horeca (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafés, and Catering) segment, focusing on driving volume and visibility for the company’s imported food and confectionery portfolio. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying new Horeca partners, managing key accounts, negotiating commercial terms, ensuring product placement, and executing promotional activities. The role involves close collaboration with distribution partners, supervising sales representatives, tracking sales performance, and preparing regular sales reports and forecasts. The Sales Manager will also gather market insights, monitor competitor activity, and work with marketing and supply chain teams to support sustainable growth in the Horeca channel.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in Horeca or FMCG sales management, preferably in imported foods or confectionery.
- Strong skills in key account management, negotiation, and relationship building with hotels, restaurants, and cafés.
- Ability to analyze sales data, prepare forecasts, and use insights to drive channel growth and performance.
- Proficiency in planning and executing trade promotions, in-store activations, and visibility drives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and guide sales teams.
- Comfort working on-site in Delhi with regular field visits to Horeca customers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent is an advantage.
- Knowledge of the local Horeca ecosystem and prior experience working with distributors or channel partners.
