Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Sales Manager to lead our generator (DG set) sales operations across Kerala. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and expanding our market presence in both B2B and B2C segments.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for diesel generator sets (20 kVA to 3000 kVA range).
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across sectors such as construction, real estate, commercial establishments, and industrial clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with:
- Builders and developers
- Electrical consultants
- MEP consultants
- Contractors and architects
- Lead and monitor the performance of sales executives across Kerala.
- Track enquiries, quotations, and order conversions through CRM tools.
- Conduct regular client visits, site evaluations, and technical discussions.
- Prepare and present techno-commercial proposals to customers.
- Coordinate with service, logistics, and accounts teams for smooth order execution.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain healthy receivables.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in generator sales / power equipment / industrial product sales.
- Strong knowledge of DG sets and applications is advantages.
- Minimum 5–10 years of sales experience, preferably in Kerala or abroad market.
- Established network with consultants, contractors, and industrial customers.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and deliver results under pressure.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Kerala.
