Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Sales Manager role based in Mumbai. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and pursuing sales opportunities, developing and nurturing client relationships, and creating effective sales strategies. Day-to-day tasks include setting and tracking performance targets, delivering sales presentations, negotiating contracts, and providing insights on market trends. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives and achieve customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify new business opportunities in domestic and international markets.
- Develop and execute strategies to acquire new clients, particularly in service desk and IT support services.
- Create and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve or exceed revenue targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to adapt sales approaches.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools and provide regular updates on progress.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, performance reports, and client activity summaries.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 3+ years of proven experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in the IT or service desk domain.
- Demonstrated success in mining existing accounts and acquiring new clients in International markets. (Mandatory)
- Strong understanding of service desk operations and solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Number of new clients acquired.
- Client retention and satisfaction rates.
- Achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets.
