As the Sales Head, you will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team of an organization.
Your primary objective will be to develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve the
company's sales targets and revenue goals. You will oversee the sales process, monitor team
performance, and ensure the overall success of the sales department.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains Sales Executives.
Oversees the daily sales activity of department and payment collection.
Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue targets.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities, market trends, and customer needs.
Set sales targets and goals for the sales team and provide guidance on how to achieve them.
Create and manage the sales budget and allocate resources effectively.
- Team Leadership and Management:
Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team.
Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback and coaching to team
members.
Motivate and inspire the sales team to achieve their targets and exceed customer
expectations.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement strategies to improve team
productivity.
Monitor and analyse sales metrics to assess team and individual performance.
Implement effective sales processes, tools, and technologies to optimize efficiency.
Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to align
sales strategies with overall business objectives.
Ensure accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management.
- Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any escalated customer issues or concerns.
Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and customer retention.
- Sales Performance Analysis and Reporting:
Prepare and present regular sales reports, performance analysis, and insights to the senior
management team.
Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and best practices in sales management.
Required Skills/Abilities

Qualifications And Education Requirements
- Bachelors/ Master’s Degree in mechanical engineering
- Business Adminstration
- Min 2-15 years of experience in PEB field.
- Technical Understanding about Structural Steel & PEB Structures
- Proven project management and supplier experience
- Experience of operating and influencing at a strategic level
- Good Knowledge and technical understanding of structural steel & PEB.
