Job Description
We are currently supporting a fast-growing organization in the event management and corporate gifting space to hire a Sales Manager who can drive revenue growth through strategic client acquisition and relationship management.
Role Overview
As a Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving business growth by acquiring new clients, managing existing relationships, and promoting event management and corporate gifting solutions. This role requires a strong mix of sales expertise, client servicing, and solution-based selling.
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across Marketing, HR, Procurement, and Admin teams
- Target industries including Tech, Pharma, FMCG, and more
- Identify and engage potential clients through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and inbound leads
- Understand client requirements and position the organization as a trusted partner
Revenue Generation & Vendor Empanelment
- Drive end-to-end sales cycles from lead generation to closure
- Facilitate vendor empanelment with enterprise clients
- Achieve and exceed revenue targets through strategic selling
- Upsell and cross-sell services to existing clients
Proposal Development & Client Presentations
- Create customized proposals aligned with client needs and budgets
- Deliver compelling presentations showcasing value propositions
- Negotiate commercials, terms, and contracts to close deals
Solution Understanding & Advisory
- Develop strong knowledge of event management and corporate gifting solutions
- Provide tailored recommendations based on client objectives
Payment & Account Management
- Oversee invoicing and ensure timely payment collections
- Resolve payment-related queries professionally
Client Servicing & Satisfaction
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients
- Ensure high levels of satisfaction through proactive communication
- Conduct regular check-ins to identify growth opportunities
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in event management or corporate gifting
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
