Sales Manager -EV Powertrain/Automotive Components
Experience: 6 - 8 Years
Must Have
Experience must be in EV components/ Automotive Components (Tier-1 Supplier). Sound Knowledge of Motor, Controller and EV components preferred.
Min 2 Key account management,
Min 2 BDE experience is a mandate.
Min 5-7 Years of exp EV Powertrain Technical Sales (Motors, Controllers, Inverters)
Min 5 Years of exp OEM Relationship Management (Specifically L7/LCV/3W segment)
Min 3-5 Years of exp in Program Management Life Cycle (RFQ to SOP - Start of Production)
Min 3 Years of exp Market Intelligence & Strategy (Competitor benchmarking/Pricing)
Education: B.E/B.Tech. Engg+MBA Preferred
Role Overview
Responsible for driving strategic business growth, identifying market opportunities, and managing key customer relationships for
EV powertrain solutions in L2, L3, L5 and LCV applications. This role requires a strong blend of
technical expertise, commercial acumen, and market insight to expand business opportunities in
traction motors, inverters and powertrain components for electric mobility.
- Experience in EV components/ Automotive Components (Tier-1 Supplier). Sound Knowledge of Motor, Controller and EV components preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding of the entire life cycle of automotive / EV OEM programs.
- Technical aptitude, planning & strategic thinking.
- Established network of high-level contacts across Indian automotive OEMs, including leadership levels.
- Extensive experience engaging directly with customers, underscored by a strong focus on customer satisfaction and relationship-building.
- Proven track record working with Indian automotive/ Electric Vehicle OEMs.
- Proficiency in spoken & written English, along with good presentation skills.
- Strong team player and highly adept at collaborative effective networking.
- Willing to Travel.
