Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Manager - Construction Chemicals / Contracts, based in Mumbai. The Sales Manager will focus on generating new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets for construction chemicals and building materials. Responsibilities include identifying potential clients, delivering technical presentations, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and ensuring excellent customer service. Collaborating with technical teams to provide customized solutions and staying updated on industry trends will also be key aspects of this role.
Qualifications
- Proven sales expertise with skills in business development, account management, and meeting sales targets
- Knowledge of construction chemicals, building materials, and industry-specific applications
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies
- Team collaboration skills and the ability to coordinate with technical and operational staff
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Prior experience in the construction materials or chemical distribution industry is highly advantageous
- Willingness to travel locally, with a strong understanding of the Mumbai and West India market
