We’re Hiring: Sales Manager – Chennai

PBC Distributors is looking for an experienced and driven Sales Manager to join our team in Chennai. This is a field-based, travelling role suited for someone who enjoys building strong customer relationships, developing new markets, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales and business development across the assigned territory.
- Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Regularly travel within the assigned territory / country for customer meetings and market visits.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
- Monitor market trends, competition, and customer requirements.
- Coordinate internally to ensure smooth order processing and customer service.
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Prior experience in sales and business development.
- Experience in the book industry, publishing, book distribution, or related sectors is highly preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Good understanding of the Chennai and Tamil Nadu market will be an advantage.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively as required by the role.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable working independently in the field.
