Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Director – Call Center to lead and scale outbound telesales operations in India. This role will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing large sales teams, optimizing call center performance, and building a high-performing sales culture.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in outbound telesales operations, team leadership, KPI management, coaching, and sales process optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operations of the outbound sales call center to achieve business targets
- Develop sales processes, SOPs, and operational policies
- Define and track KPIs for telesales teams
- Create effective sales scripts, campaigns, and promotional strategies
- Monitor call quality, team productivity, and customer interactions
- Analyze sales data and operational metrics to improve efficiency and conversions
- Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and training sessions
- Handle escalated customer concerns and complex operational issues
- Drive employee engagement, motivation, and retention
- Manage workforce planning, hiring, and performance management
- Prepare daily and weekly sales performance reports
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership on business growth strategies
Required Skills & Experience
- Graduate in any discipline (10+2+3 education system)
- 8+ years of experience in outbound telesales/call center operations
- Minimum 6 years in leadership roles managing teams of 50+ members
- Strong experience in sales operations, coaching, and team performance management
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills with a data-driven mindset
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in fast-paced or startup-like environments is preferred
- Energetic, proactive, and execution-focused leadership style
- Fluent English communication skills required
