Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Manager role based in Vadodara. The Sales Manager will lead and develop a team of sales professionals to achieve loan and mortgage sales targets, while ensuring excellent client service throughout the borrowing lifecycle. Responsibilities include generating and managing leads, building and nurturing relationships with clients and channel partners, and guiding clients through product selection, documentation, and application processes. The role involves coordinating with financial institutions, monitoring sales pipelines and conversion rates, forecasting revenue, and preparing regular performance reports. The Sales Manager will also contribute to local market strategies, support training and coaching for team members, and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in loans, mortgages, banking, or financial services.
- Strong client relationship management skills, with the ability to understand client needs and provide suitable loan and mortgage solutions.
- Demonstrated team leadership abilities, including mentoring, performance management, and motivating sales teams to meet targets.
- Solid understanding of retail lending products, documentation requirements, and basic concepts of taxation and insurance related to loans.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with fluency in English and relevant local languages preferred.
- Analytical and data-driven approach to managing pipelines, forecasting, and reporting on sales performance.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Willingness to travel locally within and around Vadodara for client meetings and partner engagements, as required.
