Role Description
Developing sales strategies to maximise growth and margins, driving revenue growth through Business Development and Account Management, managing and developing the sales teams, defining and implementing sales policies, ensuring customer satisfaction
Key responsibilities
Work with company, country and regional/global management to develop sales strategies to meet or exceed company sales targets and objectives.
Focus primarily on
1) building the sales organization
2) manage directly the business development activities, especially for cross-selling clients.
Manage a team of sales representatives (business developers, account managers, inside sales and other sales related roles). Develop the organization by refining the job description and value stream mapping across the different functions.
Support the sales teams to achieve their goals.
Implement best in class sales processes, following Trescal global guidelines, including the use of the global CRM Hermes, account management, recall process, commercial policies including pricing.
Develop sales collaterals including client presentations, commercial proposals and other communication support.
Work closely with the global sales organization to identify opportunities for improvement and implement global best practices.
Identify development needs and training to improve the sales teams skills and performance.
Set individual and team sales targets and monitoring performance against these targets.
Support sales teams for all tenders, ensuring alignment with commercial, operational, and financial objectives
Preparing and supporting Bid Review processes, in close coordination with Finance, Operations, and Management
Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify opportunities for growth.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and finance, to support overall business objectives.
Monitor and report on sales performance and providing regular updates to senior management.
Handle any complaints from the customer, employee disagreements and any other problems that may affect the sales operations.
Qualifications
Five years of direct sales experience in a multi-national company with local presence in India.
Sales-oriented and customer focused. Proven experience in building relationships with customers.
Knowledge of the TIC/ calibration industry is ideal, or at least relevant industries.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
Experience working with CRM systems.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration preferred.
Fluent English.
Self starter, strong ability to take initiative, get support from key stakeholders.
