Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Sales Manager based in Chandigarh, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving new business growth by identifying and pursuing sales opportunities, building relationships with clients, and developing tailored insurance solutions to meet customer needs. Daily tasks include managing and expanding the client portfolio, achieving sales targets, preparing and delivering proposals, and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction. Additionally, the Sales Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support insurance portfolio management and contribute to strategic business development initiatives.
Qualifications
- Sales and business development skills, including lead generation, client acquisition, and effective negotiation
- Communication, relationship management, and interpersonal skills to build long-term client partnerships
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities for creating tailored insurance solutions
- Familiarity with insurance products, risk management, and claims management processes
- Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets in a competitive environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple client accounts effectively
- Proficient in using CRM tools and office software for managing sales processes and data
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in the insurance or financial services sector will be considered an advantage
