Role Description The Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at the National Sales office Mumbai in India. This role is responsible for driving room, event, and F&B revenues by identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and building strong relationships with corporate, travel, and event partners. The Sales Manager will conduct regular sales calls and site visits, prepare proposals and contracts, and collaborate with each unit hotel to optimize pricing and promotional activities. Daily tasks include tracking sales performance, forecasting, maintaining accurate records in CRM systems, and providing regular reports and insights to leadership. The role also involves coordinating with operations teams to ensure seamless guest experiences and representing the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums.
Qualifications
- Strong sales, business development, and account management skills, with proven experience meeting or exceeding revenue targets in hospitality or related industries.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities, with the capacity to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Solid analytical and reporting skills, including comfort with CRM tools, sales metrics, forecasting, and basic financial concepts.
- Organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple leads, proposals, and client interactions in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of hotel operations, events, and F&B offerings, and familiarity with the Indian hospitality market and corporate travel segments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent professional certification is an advantage.
- Prior experience in a sales role within hotels, travel, or luxury services; experience with boutique or lifestyle brands is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in India, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and customer-centric thinking.
