Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales Manager located in Pune City. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve business goals and expand the company’s market presence. Key tasks include managing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, conducting market research, meeting sales targets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric solutions. The role also involves providing technical consultation to clients, preparing proposals, and facilitating successful negotiations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales management, strategic planning, and business development
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Technical understanding of industrial equipment such as gearboxes, actuators, pumps, or heat exchangers is advantageous
- Proficiency in market research, customer acquisition, and account management
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and adapt to dynamic market conditions
- Proficiency in CRM software, data analysis, and sales forecasting
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA is a plus
- Prior experience in industrial equipment or engineering solutions sales is highly desirable
- Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events
