Cart2Port Services Pvt. Ltd. - Ship Stores & Spares is a brand for Buying & Selling of Ship Supplies to end users Ship Owners, Ship Managers, Port Managers and Shipyard Owners. We are seeking a knowledgeable and result-oriented Sales Manager. The desired candidate should have proven experiences in sales with the maritime industry. The candidate should be able to make out of office visits, drive sales growth and maintain strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Meet New & Existing Clients for selling Marine Stores & Spares by providing presentations
- Develop sales strategies, maintain sales pipeline and report regularly on sales performance: drive sales and revenue growth, increasing business turn over
- Make monthly / quarterly / annual supply contracts
- Work with Purchase Team for best quotations ensuring good conversions, control logistics expenses, and encourage team building
- Understand client needs, address inquiries and maintain strong relationships with them
- Stay up to date with industry trends, study competitors, and attend industry events
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in sales with the maritime or shipping industry
- Familiarity with Marine Stores & Spares, their applications, and relevant regulations
- Knowing customers viz.: Ship Owners, Ship Yards, Ports & Terminals, Rig Operators
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, negotiation and persuasion abilities, and result-oriented with a focus on achieving sales targets
- Excellent organizational skills, time-management skills, and technical understanding to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams
