The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading the sales team, achieving monthly/quarterly sales targets, driving showroom walk-ins and conversions, and ensuring high customer satisfaction levels. The role involves team management, planning promotional activities, inventory coordination, and maintaining dealership performance standards as per Bajaj Auto guidelines.
🎯 Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Target Achievement
- Achieve monthly and annual vehicle sales targets
- Monitor daily sales performance and conversion ratios
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share
- Plan and execute promotional campaigns and local marketing activities
2. Team Management
- Recruit, train, and mentor sales executives
- Conduct daily sales meetings and performance reviews
- Motivate team to achieve targets through incentives and coaching
- Ensure adherence to dealership SOPs and brand standards
3. Customer Relationship Management
- Ensure excellent customer experience from inquiry to delivery
- Handle escalations and resolve customer complaints effectively
- Maintain customer database and follow-up system
- Encourage referrals and repeat business
4. Inventory & Coordination
- Coordinate with inventory and service departments
- Ensure adequate stock availability of fast-moving models
- Track bookings, deliveries, and documentation processes
5. Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports
- Maintain MIS reports as per company and Bajaj Auto requirements
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies and financial procedures
🎓 Required Qualifications
- Graduate / MBA - Freshers can apply
- 3-5 years of experience in automobile sales (2+ years in a supervisory role preferred)
- Experience in two-wheeler dealership sales is an advantage
