Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Manager role based in Bengaluru. The Sales Manager will oversee branch and field sales activities, drive business growth for gold loans and MSME loan products, and ensure consistent achievement of sales targets. Responsibilities include developing and executing sales plans, managing and mentoring a sales team, and building strong relationships with customers, channel partners, and local business networks. The role involves tracking market trends, identifying new business opportunities, and coordinating with credit, operations, and customer support teams to ensure smooth onboarding and high service quality. The Sales Manager will also monitor performance metrics, prepare regular sales reports, and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in sales planning, pipeline management, and target achievement in financial services or lending.
- Strong abilities in team leadership, performance management, and mentoring field or branch sales staff.
- Experience in customer relationship management, negotiation, and closing deals with retail and MSME customers.
- Familiarity with gold loan and/or MSME loan products, NBFC operations, and basic credit and risk concepts.
- Comfort using CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and digital platforms for sales tracking and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English and local languages preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site, travel within assigned territory, and operate in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
