Job Title: Sales Manager – AV & Digital Signage
Location: Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Guwahati (Assam) and Bangalore
Reports to: Head of Sales / CEO
Experience: 2-6 years in sales within AV & Digital Signage industries
Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team in the AV (Audio-Visual) and Digital Signage industries. The ideal candidate will have 5-6 years of experience in B2B sales, specifically in the AV and Digital Signage sectors, and a proven ability to drive sales growth, build strong client relationships, and lead sales initiatives. As a Sales Manager, you will play a key role in managing accounts, developing new business opportunities, and executing strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue goals.
This role is ideal for a highly organized and proactive sales professional with strong product knowledge, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technology-driven industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the AV and Digital Signage sectors.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets by identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts.
- Proactively prospect and generate new leads through research, networking, and outreach efforts.
- Account Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including businesses, system integrators, and end-users.
- Provide high-quality customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business.
- Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions that meet their AV and Digital Signage requirements.
- Product Knowledge & Solutions Selling:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest AV and Digital Signage technologies and products to effectively communicate features, benefits, and value propositions to clients.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations, ensuring clients understand how our solutions meet their specific needs.
- Sales Presentations & Negotiations:
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals, highlighting the value of our AV and Digital Signage solutions.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to close deals effectively and profitably.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, from initial contact to post-sale follow-up.
- Market Research & Competitive Analysis:
- Research market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to stay ahead in the AV and Digital Signage markets.
- Use insights to refine sales approaches and identify new growth opportunities.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Collaborate closely with the marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
- Provide feedback from customers and the field to help improve product offerings and marketing strategies.
- Sales Reporting & Forecasting:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and opportunities using CRM tools.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and opportunities.
- Event Representation & Networking:
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build brand awareness and expand professional networks.
- Foster relationships with key industry stakeholders and decision-makers.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience:
- 5-6 years of proven experience in sales, preferably within the AV, Digital Signage, or related technology sectors.
- Solid understanding of B2B sales processes, including lead generation, sales pipeline management, and closing techniques.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. A technical background is a plus.
- Technical Expertise:
- Knowledge of AV and Digital Signage products and solutions, including hardware, software, and integration systems.
- Familiarity with industry trends, customer needs, and technological advancements.
- Sales Skills:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport with customers, close sales, and maintain long-term relationships.
- Strong problem-solving and solution-selling abilities.
- CRM & Reporting Skills:
- Proficiency in using CRM tools to manage leads, track sales activities, and report performance.
- Ability to analyze sales data and trends to adjust strategies for improved outcomes.
- Organizational & Time Management Skills:
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Travel:
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, trade shows, and events as needed.
